Innovative Product & Packaging Design
BISSELL uses up to 100% recycled content in our packaging, cardboard and resin materials. Rice straw packaging inserts reduce smoke pollution historically common with the rice straw agricultural industry¹ and provides a renewable resource for packaging versus purchasing new materials.

Serviceability and End of Life Recycling
To help reduce landfill waste, we offer BISSELL consumers product repairs and end-of-life recycling. With this service, products can be repaired or properly recycled so consumers don't need send to send them to a landfill.
Composting and Recycling Programs
BISSELL North American operations include ongoing compost and recycling initiatives with metrics available annually to reduce the amount of landfill waste created.
Manufacturing & Remanufacturing Practices
BISSELL is working to update our global facilities with energy efficient lighting and energy efficient HVAC systems. By using alternative means of energy sources and recycling water use, we’ve reduced energy consumption.
Adoption of Renewable Energy
Our global headquarters in Walker, Michigan, uses solar energy to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases generated by electricity use.
Reduction of Energy, Water Usage & Landfill Waste
We monitor our carbon footprint and report results to the Carbon Disclosure Project, so we can continue working to reduce the energy and water use and landfill waste throughout our supply chain.
